Termon and Churchill parents produce ‘Donegal Importers’

BY CRONAN SCANLON
John Murray (46) set up www.donegalimporters.com in 2008 following a trip ‘home’ to Donegal after he had left his job with the massive US home shopping network, QVC.

A native of New York, John’s father was the late John Murray from Fawns in Termon and his mother is Anne (nee Rodden) from the townland of Losset near Churchill.

Anne (88) is hale and hearty and lives with John and his wife Colleen at their home in New Jersey, along with their three children Amy, Josh, Erin, Liddy and Jack.

John’s late uncle, Hugh, had just left him the Rodden family farm in Losset and it was during this trip that he met a number of Donegal business people who were selling hats and other wool and tweed products in the US.
