A status yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued for Donegal.
The warning issued by MET Éireann comes into effect from 9pm tonight until 9am tomorrow, Friday, morning.
The forecaster has warned that showers may fall as sleet or snow with some accumulations possible, mainly on high ground.

This could lead to difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.
