Karen Guthrie’s has worn the Donegal jersey at senior level into three different decades, over 70 different grounds and a total of 163 games so far.
The Glenfin forward got her 163rd cap against Armagh last Sunday in Lifford in a glittering career for the team which started all the way back in 2006.
Since then, she is the most capped Donegal ladies footballer, is the only Donegal player to have made over 100 league appearances since her debut on the 11th of February 2006 against Monaghan, and has played at a whopping 78 different venues for the country.
The 2023 campaign is her 18th consecutive season playing for her county, and it shows her dedication to the game and where she is from.
Karen has won two Intermediate Football Championships, two Division 2 titles, 5 Ulster titles (1 Intermediate, 4 Senior), Donegal Player of the Year, an Interprovincial title with Ulster, and five Donegal SFC titles with Glenfin.
In a star studded career, her stats of games per year for Donegal can be found below, along with the grounds played at.
