Name: Cathal McGeever

Age: 19

Occupation: Student/Barman

Team: Cloughaneely

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around? Conor McGregor, Lionel Messi, Lorcan McGee and Shaun Sharkey wouldn’t disappoint.

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory? The Shamrock is always booming after a CCF game.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on? Not many bad pitches about any more but Dungloe has a good slope in her.

Which character in any film are you most like? Jock from the Young Offenders probably.

Any odd items in your kit bag? Plumbers tape for some reason.

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? Shaun Maguire comes out with a few crackers.

Which team mate has the best looking other half? Awh I couldn’t mention any names for I’d get some chewing but there’s definitely a few in contention.

Who is the worst/best trainer? Best has to be Cian McFadden for he’s always there and gives 100% and the worst would probably be Oran Craig as he bluffs his way through it.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room? Darren McGeever , might get in trouble for saying it but everyone knows it’s true…

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus? Best would have to be Padraig Coyle as he has some bit of gossip from his nights out with women, and the worst would have to be oran Craig as he chats some nonsense.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include? Best diet would be Blake McGarvey, he loves his pasta and worst would have to be Mark Harley for he’s never out of the Indian.

Toughest opponent you have faced? Luke McGlynn is always a nightmare to play against

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent? Worst quote has to have come from Daniel Mulhern, when he came out with ‘you can’t mix cement without a cement mixer’.

Best manager you’ve ever played under? Luke Barrett easily.

Best ever performance? Took a while to think on one but when we played Glen last year I had a decent game.

One to forget? Played Glenswilly away at Minor level and got hammered out the gate.

Sporting ambition? To play at the top level.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be? Ryan McHugh was always one I looked up to.

If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team? I’d get rid of Ciaran Scan as he’s well passed it at this stage, and I’d transfer in Donal Gallagher as he’s a tough man to play against.
