JASON Gibson says Bonagee United will play in the biggest game in their club’s history this Sunday when they travel to Cork to face Rockmount in the quarter-final of the Intermediate Cup.
Bonagee have never reached this stage of the competition and everyone in the club is eagerly awaiting the long trip south.
It isn’t quite as novel for Rockmount, who are three-times winners of this prestigious tournament.
Gibson and his squad will depart early on Saturday morning. He’s expecting the journey to take in and around five hours and they will stay in Mallow the night before.
Then on Sunday it will be all systems for a 1pm kick-off at Whitechurch.
