Donegal got their league campaign off to a winning start against 14-man Tyrone in Omagh this evening.
The first half was brilliant fare with both sides pushing up on each other.
Declan Bonner’s Donegal kicked some super long-range scores with the breeze, while Tyrone were also sharp and the sides were level at the break.

Tyrone had Michael O’Neill sent off at the start of the second half, before Donegal reeled off three points on the trot.
Shaun Patton made a good save from Conor McKenna, and while Paul Donaghy scored the resulting ’45’, a Patrick McBrearty free had Donegal 0-14 to 0-11 ahead at the second half water break.
Ciaran Thompson pushed the visitors four ahead in the 64th minute, but a Donaghy brace kept Tyrone in the mix.
Donegal held firm in the closing exchanges to get their league campaign off to a positive start.
