Will Covid-19 result in a lost generation of young sports talent?

With the League of Ireland back in action and the GAA finally getting its green light to resume; the plight of underage and juvenile sports people remains a real concern to coaches in the county.

Developing youngsters depends on many variables, but practice and time spent on the pitch, track or in the ring are non-negotiables.

However, for the past year there has been very little time for budding stars to hone their skills. More important, though, is the mental health impact on children at all levels.
