If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around? I’d invite Sean Paul.
Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory? I wouldn’t drink to often but I’d say anywhere in Dunfanaghy.
What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on? Swilly Park.
Which character in any film are you most like? I’ve been called Del Boy a few times so I’ll go with that.
Any odd items in your kit bag? Nothing too odd a couple of holy medals to keep me right.
Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? Paddy Cannon has a few good jokes. I try to stay focused on the game…
Who is the worst/best trainer? John Mc Fadden would be the best always gives it his all.
Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room? Darren McGeever. I’d come a close second myself.
Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus? Shaun Curran is always good craic to sit beside.
Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include? Ciaran Coll used to be fond of the sweets.
Toughest opponent you have faced? Carlos O’Reilly.
Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent? ‘If you can’t get the ball get the man’.
Best manager you’ve ever played under? Johnny McGroarty at Finn Harps
Best ever performance? Probably the day I netted five against Glenree back in my prime.
One to forget? All-Ireland school final.
Sporting ambition? To win the league again with Glenea.
When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be? Lionel Messi.
If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team? Nobody would go out and I’d say having a few players back from injury would be better than any transfer.
