Katy Herron and Glenfin are eager to right the wrongs of previous Ulster odysseys when they host Cavan champions Cavan Lacken in the Ulster Club semi-final at Pairc Tabhoige on Sunday at 2pm.
Glenfin fell to a seven-point defeat in the provincial decider two years ago, and the totemic midfielder believes that an injection of fresh legs is the difference between today’s Glenfin charges and crops of old.
“The last two times we got into Ulster we failed miserably. It’s nice to get that chance again. I think we’ve come a long way from that. Our younger players coming through are having a big impact and it’s great to see them stepping up to the mark.”
