Gary McDaid feels that the likes of the GAA and GPA have let their members down with their lack of clear and hard guidelines regarding our return to play.
The former Glenswilly and Donegal underage boss believes the ambiguity surrounding the intercounty game, and the training guidelines there, continues to leave potential for conflict.
Newstalk/Off The Ball contacted every single county board in the country on Friday for comment regarding their current and respective situations on the above matter.
Unsurprisingly, not one representative there confirmed that their county had indeed made any return before the September 14 date.
26 counties, including Donegal, responded with a clear ‘no’. Interestingly, Dublin and Armagh failed to reply while Tyrone, Donegal’s Ulster SFC foes, submitted a ‘no comment’ answer.
McDaid though, isn’t convinced by the survey’s findings.
