Name: Ryan Campbell

Age: 26

Occupation: Electrician

Team: Milford United

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around?
Muhammad Ali

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?
Cranford this year. It was bogging.

Which character in any film are you most like?
Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. At least that’s what I’ve been told.

Any odd items in your kit bag?
Not really no

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for?
Connor Meakin thinks that he is a really really funny fella. I can assure you he is not. TJ Evesson and Jamie Whelan are both funny

Which team mate has the best looking other half?
I’ve seen this one answered before. Everyone seems to agree that Cathal McGettigan’s a man punching above his weight.

Who is the worst/best trainer?
Worst trainers is more like it. Any and every GAA man. Mark Flood shows up to training as much as some of those lads. Ciaran Blaney never misses a session.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?

Darren McLaughlin likes to keep the greys looking slick

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
We rarely get buses, but I’d imagine simply being on the same bus as Pauric Curley would be enough to feel like you’re sitting right next to him. People can make up their own minds whether that be a good or bad thing.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include? From what I’ve seen, Joey Cullen eats like a 10 year old child. I’d say Barry Gallagher eats the cleanest. The perfect balance of Proteins, Carbs and Fats no doubt.

Toughest opponent you have faced? Brian Proctor

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?
A classic one from Gibbons was “Go out and enjoy yourselves lads!”. Not that it was ever overly inspiring or anything, more so humorous. And ironic. Gibbons never expressed much joy.

Best manager you’ve ever played under? The ever-smiling, Ciaron Gibbons

Best ever performance?
Home to Cappry this year

One to forget?
The vast majority of others.

Sporting ambition? Throw a 180

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?
Ruud Van Nistelrooy

If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?
That would be an ecumenical matter
