A not-to-be-missed outdoor aerial circus performance takes place at An Grianán Theatre tomorrow night, Wednesday July 11, as part of the 30th Earagail Arts Festival.
Check out the Irish premiere of Forme Uniche, by the Italian aerial dance company Il Posto which will see a group of international dancers scale the outside of An Grianán Theatre to perform a spectacular nocturnal outdoor performance against the façade of the building.
This unique event for Letterkenny is expected to draw large crowds and involves live video projections, music and vertical dancers performing against the backdrop of An Grianán Theatre’s walls.
Earagail Arts Festival has partnered with Fidget Feet’s Irish Aerial Dance Festival, An Grianán Theatre and Donegal County Council Arts Office to bring this exciting outdoor performance to Letterkenny. Forme Uniche takes place this Wednesday at 10.30pm in the car park of An Grianán Theatre. It is suitable for all ages and last 30 minutes. Admission is €5.

Other key highlights of this week include the Donegal International Folk & Roots Weekend which runs from Thursday until Sunday. Tickets are still available for some events including Music at the Castle, Ulaid and Duke Special, Donegal International Folk & Roots BBQ at Castle Grove, Songhoy Blues, California Feetwarmers, Mná na bhFidleacha – The Donegal Female Fiddlers KGB: Paddy Keenan (Bothy Band), Frankie Gavin (De Dannan), Dermot Byrne (Altan).
