Search for missing Lifford singer continues in Fanad

THE Sikorsky search and rescue helicopter was on its way from Sligo towards Fanad Head earlier today to take part in a search for a missing person.

The Coast Guard were contacted by gardai earlier today (Tuesday) and a full-scale search has been launched. It is concentrating on the Fanad Head area taking advantage of low tide.

Stephen Martin (29) was last seen in Derry three weeks ago. The singer, who performed under the name Rainy Boy Sleep is a native of Lifford. His car was discovered at Fanad lighthouse.
