Gardai believe safe stolen in Carrigart burglary

GARDAI investigating a break in at Centra on the Main Street in Carrigart believe that a safe was taken during the incident.

Milford Gardai are investigating the burglary which occurred sometime overnight in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A Spokesperson for Gardai said: “We can confirm Gardai are investigating a burglary which occurred at a premises on Main Street Carrigart sometime between 9pm and 6am. The scene was technically examined. It is believed a safe was taken in the incident.”

No arrests have yet been made and anyone with any information is asked to contact Milford Garda Station on (074) 9153060.

It is unclear if this latest incident is connected with the break ins by the gang targeting premises across Donegal over the last month gaining entry through roofs.
