Woman’s death: State Pathologist on his way to Raphoe

GARDAI have confirmed that they are treating as suspicious the death of a woman in Raphoe last night.

The woman, aged 43 years, was found in an apartment on William Street, Raphoe.

“Gardaí were informed of the discovery on Thursday evening 6th July, 2017 at approximately 8pm by ambulance personnel. The scene has been preserved and the body remains at scene and the state pathologist has been informed. He will attend this afternoon and his findings will determine the course of the investigation,” a Garda spokesman said.
