MICHAEL O’Connor’s first half goal was enough to give Shamrock Rovers all three points against Finn Harps tonight.

There wasn’t much between the teams in the first half, but Rovers took the lead in the 43rd minute when O’Connor headed to the net.

Harps appealed for a penalty in the second half, and created a few half-chances, but Rovers held on to inflict a first defeat in four games on Ollie Horgan’s team.
