The first in a series of book signings for Donal Reid’s new autobiography will take place this weekend in Letterkenny.
The book, ‘Confessions of a Gaelic Footballer’, has generated much interest since it was launched in the Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town three weeks ago. Sales have been going extremely and with all proceeds from the sale going to Pieta House, there have been a number of requests for book signings.
The first of those will take place this Saturday at Dry Arch Centre, Letterkenny, with Donal present from 11 am to 1 pm.
“The reaction to the book has been phenomenal,” says Donal. “I have received numerous phone calls and messages of congratulations with many expressing kind words about the contents.”
The entire book print run has now been distributed around newsagents in the county and there may be a need to consider a second print run if the sales continue at their present rate.
The book would make an ideal Christmas present and can be purchased early. A signed copy would make an even better present, so if you have already bought a book, or want to buy one and get it signed, get along to the Dry Arch Centre in Letterkenny on Saturday.
