Termon manager Francie Friel.
TERMON have recent pedigree of defeating Gaoth Dobhair in championship football, and they will be hoping to repeat the trick on Saturday evening.
Two years ago, Gaoth Dobhair were heavy favourites to progress to the quarter-finals, but Termon shocked them at the Burn Road to take their spot in the last eight.
That will make the Magheragallon men wary as they make the short trip down the road on Saturday evening, and Termon boss Francie Friel doesn’t think his team will be taken lightly this time around.
“We maybe caught them on the hop that day. It was a winner-takes-all match and they maybe underestimated us a bit,” said Friel.
“It won’t be like that this week and they’ll know it would be foolish to come up to us expecting an easy game.”
