THE revs from the engines have started as battle gets underway in the 45th staging of the Donegal International Rally.
One hundred and fifty cars set off from outside An Grianann Theatre with six stages this afternoon and it won’t be too long before we will start to see who the main contenders are.
Will the World Rally Car guys have the advantage or will the young guns in their R5 cars show them who are the new kids on the block? In the National section of the Rally will the no longer homologated WRC’s be able to keep in front of the top two wheel drive Escorts and the mighty Starlet?
