DONEGAL manager Rory Gallagher is hoping to make the most of his team’s home advantage when they play Cork on Sunday.

Donegal are traditionally difficult to defeat in Fr Tierney Park and Gallagher is hoping his charges will make the most of their home comforts this week.

“It has been a happy hunting ground for us and Donegal have a very good record in Ballyshannon even if you go back 15 or 20 years. There’s always a bit of a breeze there and it’s not an easy pitch to play on,” said Gallagher

“We’re at home and we love playing in front of our own supporters. I can’t imagine there will be a lot of Cork fans travelling up, and we have to make the most of our home support, because it will probably be a ding-dong battle.”
