Donegal volunteer is building hope in South Africa

Donegal Volunteer Chris Hay (from Downings) with the Rose of Tralee, Maria Walsh on the Mellon Educate building blitz in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

They have joined 200 others to help build 2 schools giving children great excitement and hope for their future. The charity implements a two year teacher training programme to greatly improve maths and literacy results tailored to each school.

The next one week building blitz will take place in November 2015.
