Gardai investigate man’s death in Buncrana


GARDAI in Buncrana are investigating the circumstances in which a man was found dead at his home in the town this morning (Friday).

The man, whose name has not been released yet, is reported to be in his thirties and from the town, was discovered at his Main Street home. It is believed he may have died as a result of a fall.

The alarm was raised by a relative who found him and two ambulances attended the scene.

A Garda source said an investigation is ongoing but it is too early to comment on the cause of death at this stage.

The woman, aged 43 years, was found in an apartment on William Street, Raphoe.
