Quarter-final draws made for Junior B, Under-21 ‘A’ and Under-21 ‘B’ Championships

THE draws for the quarter-finals of the Junior B, Under-21 ‘A’ and Under-21 ‘B’ Football Championships were made at Monday night’s county committee meeting in the Villa Rose, Ballybofey.

The first rounds of the Under-21 Championship have yet to be played, but at the meeting the secretary of the Competitions Controls Committee (CCC), Denis Ellis, said that the competitions at that grade would be played on August 12.

“Yes, regardless of results,” Mr Ellis responded to a query from the Ardara delegate, Mary Kelly.


Junior B Championship Quarter-Finals:

Red Hughs v St Eunan’s

Naomh Padraig, Lifford v Naomh Ultan

Pettigo v Glenswilly

Convoy v Ardara.

Junior B Semi-Finals:

Red Hughs/St Eunan’s v Convoy/Ardara

Naomh Padraig, Lifford/Naomh Ultan v Pettigo/Glenswilly.

Under-21 ‘A’ Quarter-Finals:

Kilcar/Glenswilly v Naomh Conaill/Gaoth Dobhair
Dungloe/Sean MacCumhaills v Malin/Cloughaneely
St Eunan’s/Naomh Muire v Aodh Ruadh/Letterkenny Gaels
Buncrana/Ardara v St Michael’s/Four Masters


Under-21 ‘B’ Quarter-Finals:

Killybegs/Bundoran v St Naul’s/Milford
Termon/Convoy v Naomh Colmcille/Naomh Brid
Carndonagh/Urris v Glenfin/Downings
Red Hughs/Fanad Gaels v Naomh Columba/Burt
