Donegal Youth Service to host EVS information session

Donegal Youth Service
DONEGAL Youth Service will hold a European Volunteer Service information session tomorrow, Thursday, July 10 at 6pm at DYS Headquarters in Letterkenny.

EVS offers young people between the age of 17 to 30 the opportunity to travel and work in another European Youth or Community project for a period of up to 12 months.

If you are interested in living abroad for free as a volunteer in a range of projects promoted by the European Commission you cannot miss this opportunity to find out more and to talk with staff from the Donegal Youth Service who can support you in applying.


The event will also see four current EVS volunteers share their experiences of participating in the programme also.

At the event you will be informed about how you can be a European Volunteer and what are the benefits of this programme, which include free travel, accommodation and insurance in the country you will participate in EVS.

At the end of the session you can get information about actual projects around Europe which are open for application right at this moment you. Attendance at the seminar is FREE so come along and bring a friend.
