Termon GAA gear up for big fight night

THE leather will be flying at the Lagoon in Termon on Saturday when the Termon GAA club hosts a big fundraising white collar boxing night.

With work having commenced recently on the clubs new training pitch, it is hoped this event will raise some much needed capital for the club.

Under the careful coaching of Joe Wilson and his helpers, the boxers have been put through their paces for the past several weeks and are hoping to do themselves justice on the big night. Tickets are priced at €20 each (€10 for students) and are available from any of the fighters, any member of the Club Executive or from The Lagoon.

There will also be some post-fight entertainment provided my Funky Monkey Entertainments. A large crowd is expected so early purchase and arrival is advised.

Among the participants are Donegal senior ladies team stars Geraldine McLaughlin, Roisin Friel and Therese McCafferty, as well as former Donegal senior Paddy McDaid.
