THE Ballybofey, Stranorlar and District Historical Society will host a guided walk tomorrow (Saturday) to Gortletteragh, visiting the caves/souterrains in the area as well as ‘The Steeple.’
The walk will last between two and three hours and participants should dress appropriately.
Meeting time is at 1pm at the picnic area at Gortletteragh quarry. For more information, contact Aubrey Oliver on (087) 2788291.
Meanwhile, the next meeting of the Historical Society takes place in the Henderson Hall, Church Road, Stranorlar this coming Monday, at 8pm.
