Local groups to benefit from pantomime

LETTERKENNY Pantomime Society will present Sleeping Beauty in An Grianán from Saturday 19th January to Saturday 26th January at 8pm nightly.

There will be matinee performances at 2.30 pm on Saturday 19th and Saturday 26th at 2.30pm and a performance at 5pm on Sunday 20th.


The pantomime committee being aware of the difficult financial situation have priced the tickets at €15 each or two for €25 for the 8pm shows; matinees at €8 each or a family of four for €25. Tickets for the opening matinee on Saturday 19th are priced at €5.

Kilmacrennan N.S. will host the 8pm performance on Saturday 19th and Bonagee Utd. F.C. will host the Monday night performance while Glenswilly N.S. will host the 8pm performance on Tuesday 21st. Letterkenny Gaels will host the performance at 8pm on Thursday 23rd.

Letterkenny Pantomime Society are also delighted to continue to support Donegal Hospice. Tickets for the host nights are available from members of the various associations or at the box office 074 9120777.

Caoimhe Doherty, Francis McGlynn, Sharon Harnett, Dan Harnett, Stephen Doherty and Fin Doherty from the Letterkenny Gaels who will host a night of the production of Sleeping Beauty pictured with some of the cast.

Letterkenny based GP Dr James McDaid said that an ‘awful’ lot of people across Donegal were using benzodiazepines.
